Fished Melody Acres on April 27.  The wind made the fishing a bit challenging, but we managed to land 16 bass in 7 hours of fishing.  All were caught on Sincos.  12 of the bass were right at 17 inches and estimated in the 2lb range.

If you are interested in catching some really nice crappie, try fishing just off the dam.  My guest and I caught about 20 true slabs in less than 1 hour.  Caught on Roadrunners with ultralight spinning tackle.  We kept six for the skillet.  It was a nice change of pace for a great fishing trip.

If the fish were 100% of relative weight (normal healthy fish) a 17” fish would weigh 2.7 lbs.

Thanks for the report and glad you caught a few crappie for the skillet.

Thanks for the information on the relative weight, Steve.  I’ll put ‘em on the scale next time.
