Stayed Wednesday night and fished all day Thursday with Richard Tedder…. wow what great facilities!  We stayed at Drew’s cabin and was really impressed.  Great place for family outing or just to book trip with a buddy.  We started fishing around 7:45 and just like the description says lots of undersize bass in this lake.  Caught fish on crankbaits and Zoom plastics.  Largest fish was 3.4.  Out of 68 only had 3 fish over 12”.  Fished until 6:30 and caught fish pretty much all day mainly on lodge and boathouse side of lake. Beautiful place!

Gary,

It is a beautiful place and it probably has the nicest lodging facilities in the club. This ranch is a show place. We have been working hard to remove lots of the small fish to make room for bigger fish. It will happen with our members help. However, there are big fish in this lake. Last year, we had a father and son duo who caught 7 fish over 5 lbs in the same day. Did you remove or place the 64 smaller fish in the fish basket?

Steve…. we know there’s big fish in there and just knew we were going to hook one, but the 3.4 is all we could come up with. Yes we did take all of the harvest fish.  Thanks

Steve.. forgot to mention anyone coming to Hidden Springs in the next weeek or so beware coming in on 259 that 1798 is closed! You have to take 2496 off of 259 which takes you back around to 1798. About a 20 min delay.
