I put together a little fishing tourney at Tom Bean Saturday afternoon with my pops and 2 good fishing buddies.  Between the 4 of us, we caught a little over 50 bass.  Remarkably, only 4 had to be harvested.  Caught most everything on a shallow diving crankbait with a slow, steady retrieve.  I happened to win the tournament with not one but TWO 6 1/2 lb catches, 21.5” long.  Despite the cold factor, the fact that we had a thunderstorm descend on us with a vengeance, it was a fantastic day at this property.  Cold and wet is fine with me when you are catching fish!
