Had a fabulous time at Hidden Springs Ranch this past weekend with just the girls (mom and sisters)! The cabin we stayed in was called Chris’ Cabin and it was very nicely furnished for all types of lodgers-not your typical fishing cabin that’s for sure! We really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and layout of the property. The cabin is located perfectly next to the water and just a few steps you are on the dock. While we did not fish the whole time we were there (we ventured into Rusk and did the train excursion and some shopping), we did manage to throw a line or two in with some success (see pic). And…the weather wasn’t great due to a little cold front and some rain so we were shocked that we actually caught some fish!! I must also mention that the property caretaker was delightful. We ran into her while taking a stroll and later she brought us down some cake-what a treat!  We hope to do this again soon! Thank you!!
