Fished Clymer Lake on 3/30 with my brother.  It was his first PWF experience and he had a good time.  The road to get to the lake was VERY soft and muddy.  I’m still cleaning mud off of the boat and truck.  We fished from daybreak to noon and boated somewhere around 30 fish.  My brother caught a 4-8 but most were between one and two pounds.  The fun part was that the topwater bite was ON.  I had a black buzz bait on and my brother had a Live Target popping frog.  The cloud cover let the bite continue until about 10 am when we swapped over to spinner baits and Senkos.  The vegetation is still in check but I DO NOT recommend going if it has recently rained.  All of our larger fish came from the deepest part of the lake that comes up behind the boat launch about thirty feet from the reeds.

As Jackson states. Do not fish after a rain and note that fishing here requires lots of effort as it is difficult to get into and get out of. However, you can load the boat if you are up to the challenge
