Son and I fly fished from 8:00 to 12:00 from the bank on a cloudy windy morning with the air temperature in the low to mid 60’s - very pleasant day. We caught 2 fish 1.5 to 2 lbs and lost 4. I decided to try for some crappie at 11:00 and threw a 1/8 oz Roadrunner with an untra-light rig (5 ft rod, 3 inch spinning reel with probably 6 lb test line). Caught 4 bass including a 5.3.  Lucky Son was close to grab the net and help me land it. Not sure where the crappie are but glad the bass liked the Roadrunner. I’d rather be lucky than good.
