My wife and I got up early and drove to Canton to fish this nice spot. The water is down quit a bit and the wind kept me from trying to get out in the flat bottom boat. So after getting a little over zelous and turning into china grove and disturbing the folks and kids there the land owner directed us thru the pasture and over to Parker. We started at the dam to block the wind and didnt have much luck. we walked the lake a few times. my wife Rita probably caught 12 TO 15 BASS ALL SMALL. I think the big ones were JUST OUT OF OUR REACH. we fished the small lake that HAS A CUTE cabin BEING BUILT ON IT AND CAUGHT SOME THERE AS WELL. i DECIDED TO TRY MY FLYROD OUT FOR A BIT AND CAUGHT ABOUT A DOZEN BLUEGILLS. iT GOT EXCITING FOR me when a big bass tried to eat one of the bluegills i was playing… All and All another Great day in East Texas.. Love this club and we are glad to get back to fishing
