We followed a “frog strangler” rain when Ed Underwood and I fished Beaver Lake the afternoon of April 11.
The weather cleared and the wind calmed and we caught our share of the fat Heartland 10-10 bass.
Beyond the enjoyment of the catching, I will always remember the way Steve Alexander, our club staff, and Craig, the landowner’s son helped us traverse the muddy road (on the way in, it had dried up by the time we left).
