My fishing partner, Bill Morris, and I caught 14 bass and one crappie in a full day of fishing.  Conditions were perfect.  Temps in 70s, cloud cover at times, 5-10mph wind.  We harvested 4 bass.  Total weight of my best five bass was 11.10.  Total weight of Bill’s best five was 14.40.  Each of us caught a four-pounder.  Perhaps it was because we were fishing immediately following a cold front.  The low temp the prior morning was 37 degrees, and all-time record for the date.  Spinner baits, Rat-L-Traps and soft plastics were baits of choice.
