My 2 sons and I had a very enjoyable outing at R Three Ranch.  We only boated 12 - the largest about 2 1/2 lbs.- in 4 hours, but had a great day.  The water was stained and visibility less than a foot.  The fish we caught, although not large or numerous, were healthy and put up some good battles.  Nothing better than a bass jumping clear out of water as you try to reel him in! We probably lost another 6 to 8.

We had been to this site about 2 years ago and returned primarily to use the pontoon boat so we could all fish from the same boat.  The available pontoon boat - with motor - is very large and easy for 3 or 4 to fish from.  This is a great place to take fishing partners who may need some help or just want to relax and share the experience.  The only negative is the fairly steep walk from shore to get to the boat. Perhaps if the water level rises this won’t be much of an issue.
