My 11 yr old son and I got 26 May 4 & 5; culled 9, 17 above the limit.  Actually pretty impressive as we did not fish too hard (family trip, wife was along as well).  Biggest was 3.5, most were around 1.5 to 2.5.  Healthy bass, fought hard.  Watermelon seed swimbaits/flukes worked well, also caught a few on a blue/balck 1/2 oz jig.

This is a great place to take the family!  The lake & property are very nice, and the cabin spacious.  Patti & Isauro are awesome hosts.  Very hospitable, but not obtrusive in the least.  They hooked us up with some fresh eggs & lettuce,  showed us around and we visited some of the animals.  We will definitely be back!!

On the lake: When motoring north (left to right as facing lake from the doc) there is a ‘sandbar’ to watch out for about 2/3 up the lake.  It is easy to get across if you are ready for it; just raise the motor & take a few paddles.  Patti can also point out where this is.  It is apparently an old dam/spillway.
