Arrived in San Antonio on 5/25 on heels of 10 inches of rain.  Fished Gallant on the morning of 5/26.  First time there and not ready for low water level.  Got a boat in the water and caught 20 in first hour on PopR.  Only one or two over 12”.  Headed fro shelter while first storm came across.  Back in boat for less than an hour and caught 8 more on PopR on shallow crank.  BAck to the shelter for about an hour till able to load up between lightening and thunder.  Not bad numbers for less than two hours.  Maybe with more time could have found size.

Rodney, I live near SA and routinely fish Gallant Elms and Hill County Ranch. I was also caught by the storms on Sunday at Hill Country Ranch. If you are back in the area and need a partner, give me a call at 830-535-4763 or e-mail wfetech@2fastmail.com
