I fished an afternoon trip with guest Dennis Bruton and found conditions pretty tough.  Lots of vegetation making it challenging to find a few fish.  Started out slow until we finally found a few sitting in 12’ throwing back to 6-8’ mostly on crawl baits…. with the bass being slow starting out decided to try to find a few crappie and located some slabs. Bass picked up later with us ending up with 17 bass (9 harvest fish) largest was a 4.8 also had a 3.8. We also had 12 slab crappie that was really fun to get into.  Fun day at 9G.
