Great weather after morning rain on Sunday afternoon. The fish must have been on a siesta. The vegetation was pretty thick and made throwing anything weedless challenging. No topwater action at all. Water temp 83 degrees and clear. Caught two nice fish 3+ lbs on a lipless crank and a squarebill sexy shad just off of the channel marker buoy. Picked up two smaller fish near the first PVC marker on the way out of the boat launch cove. Always great to be on the water, but would have been nice to have more action.
