My 10 year old son and I fished the morning of 6-15 at Horse Creek for the first time.  Not having fished it before it was hard to gauge how low the water was but the boat house is in about 3 inches of water.  The top water fishing was on and we caught 43 bass and one big perch.  My son had the lucky lure, Heddon Torpedo and caught the majority of the fish. He even caught two on one cast.  I switched to a blue rattle trap and caught up to him in the last hour.  Great day overall.
