If you haven’t been to Yates Place lately, now is a great time to go.
The lake is full, the fish are biting and of course the Yates are the perfect hosts (even Sassy Bear).

I caught 45 fish on Saturday, the largest were around 5 lbs, not huge by Yates’ standards, but on a very agressive bite. Lizards, weightless sticks, crankbaits, an A-rig and even a frog. The frogs around the lake will serenade you after the sun sets.

If you make it into Henderson there’s plenty to do but don’t miss a meal at Hushpuppie’s. Catfish done right and worth the trip.

It’s a fabulous property and the Yates keep it that way.
No better time than now.
