We fished the morning from 7:00 - 11:00. I struggled to find the fish, but eventually found some in the marked creek bed in open water, where the bed turns to the south. Got 8 to the boat, most with a brushhog along the bottom.

Apparently, there’s an underwater train that runs though that part of the lake. There’s no other explanation for what I hooked into that could have made my drag scream like that and quickly break off so fast. (Seriously, it was by far the biggest fish I’ve ever hooked. Never saw it but she felt MUCH different than anything else I’ve had on the line. Great feeling!)

Again, I can’t say enough good things about this property. The boats are fantastic. There are BIG fish in these lakes. And it’s an amazing property. Get out there soon if you haven’t had the chance.
