Fished 6-O on Friday, May 21. Two of us caught 25, kept 21 that were under 14”. Four were over 14”. Biggest fish was 24” but only weighed 6lbs. Had the head of an 8-9lb fish. Fought hard, cleared the water twice but was thin as a rail. Big fish bit a swim jig, everything else was caught on senkos in the brush.

Please note that we fertilized this lake again on Saturday. Visiblity was 8 feet, but it is now 56”; so it is coming down. Hopefully, the phyto bloom will kick in and have our visibility to 30” or less within the week. This lake has some really skinny fish, but is still an incredible fishery. We need your help!! please remove all fish 14” and under and report to the club the amount you removed both to Brian and the fishng log in the shed. In two years, we hope to have this lake to a point where the fish are 100% of relative weight. So that 6 lb fish will be a 9 lb fish.
