For those of you that have been to Yate’s Place you know what kind of fishing paradise it is….. fished with member Richard Tedder and took the ladies along and were they impressed! We fished an afternoon trip on Weds. starting around 12:30.  Started out with strikeking spinner baits we caught 2 decent fish the first couple of cast, but that was it. Went to Zoom Finese 5” worms and that’s what it took.  Down by the damn 8-12’ of water caught first good fish 5.9 three cast later 6.62 same area about 30 minutes later far end of damn a 7.22 and right before dark had a 5.2. The afternoon trip we ended with 36 with 23 harvest fish. Thursday morning half day was a different story pretty slow far end of lake did catch a 6.5 in 2’ of water.  Had total of 12 with 8 harvest fish. Richard got probably a 7-8lb fish up but got wrapped in thick log jam and snapped the line. The Yate’s are about as nice of folks you will meet…. this was our second time there and had a great time. Will probably make this an annual event!
