Crystal clear waters (you can see to at least 6 ft.) with massive weed beds that control 2/3’s of the lake, most penetrating the surface while others come within a foot or two, and the lake level down another two feet….yikes! May be someone knows how to fish these conditions….but not me. This is such a beautiful spot and yet I had little success at catching fish. As selfish as it is, we need a couple of hurricanes to hit the coast and dump large rainfalls on the Texas heart land to revitalize our lakes and ponds.
