I took a child fishing on August 12 from 7 am until 11 am. The Child was a 11 years old and was very new to fishing so Bass fishing was out for me. However, I was able to cast a small spinner a few times and caught a 13 inch bass ( bass was harvested 1 1/2 pounds )before I had my hands full with the blue gill fisherman in the boat. I managed to find a school of very large blue gill around 8:30 am and that kept him busy until we headed back to boat ramp where he missed a 3 lb bass on a beetle spin.

Water level is still low and we where able to fish the pockets between the grass. Very nice and clean property. I will definatley be back to go Bass and Crappie fishing later this fall.
