Caught my persoanl best (8lb 7oz) at Leaky Lake Sunday 9/15. This was a 1/2 day afternoon trip with member Cortney Coe.. Few fish caught, but the large fish made it worthwhile. We saw about a dozen deer. This property should be very productive in the spring.

You are correct. You have a pretty keen eye. Black / Blue combo Jig with crawdad 4 inch trailer. Pitched close to a moss bed near shore which was also fairly close to a fish feeder I believe. In hindsight, green worked pretty well for Cortney. I would recommend green as well as Blue / Black.
I like the larger baits. I catch fewer fish, but more quality fish. The fish typically hit the jig much more agressively than the large worms I used to be stuck on.

Congratulations Bryan! Looks like you caught her on the opposite side from the boat launch closer to the dam. Curious minds would like to know how deep of water and what you caught it on.
