This 80 acre lake fishes like a big lake. It offers well defined creek channels with plenty of drops and cover and lots of shallow water with an abundance of pads and hydrilla. I fished in the afternoon and the bite was very good all day. I stopped counting at 40. Nothing large, naturally the largest fish I hooked pulled loose, but she was only around 5 lbs. Deep cranks and carolinas will work around the channels and on this day, soft plastics and buzzbaits around the shallow stuff. Solid fish, an excellent fishery and the natural beauty of Texas.
