it was nice and cold this morning and we had a few ducks come into the pond.  most landed in the middle.  only killed one but nice to see some.  water is low.  don’t know how low as this was my first trip there.  plenty of water for hunting, though.  there are some areas with ample cover for layout blinds.  we set up on the main point on the east side.  north end looks good, too.  but close to the house.  there was someone in the house so we did not go near the north end.
