Fished the Triple J Ranch for a half day in morning on 5/31/2010. This is an absolute fantastic site for bank fishing as there are a number of shelter spots close to the shore creating opportunities to reel in plenty of fish. Overall we caught about 25 fish and kept 16 according to the club requirements. All of our keepers were 15 to 16 inches and weighed 2 to 2.5 pounds. One of our keepers was apparently used as a punching bag and little beat, but the others were very healthy. We caught and released one fish that was 17 inches and just under 4 pounds. All the fish were good fighters making it an exciting opportunity with every catch. We caught most of the fish using watermelon brush hogs. Can't wait to go back!
