Should have rescheduled trip but didn’t. Wind blowing 20-30 mph. during half-day trip a.m., water temp 40 deg. had to run trolling motor @3\4 power to keep boat position. Boated 1 small bass and 3 small crappie, but this was no day to be out.
Listen to wind reports before venturing out, guys.

Wow Joel.  You’re a brave man.

The wind was literally blowing open my office door at work and it’s a heavy glass door.  I’m hoping things settle down for this weekend but I have a rope with a lasso and I’m not afraid to put on a stump if I have to.

Glad you were able to get off the water safely.

Thanks, Jackson but I forgot to mention that I could’nt get my boat re-trailered due to high winds and had to return the next day to retrieve it. Still would’nt have gotten it if not for the land-owners assistance. I won’t make that mistake again.
