Fished Grapeland Bennett on June 5th. We fished all day with a few breaks from the heat thrown in. we caght about 40 Bass total and lost about half that. We kept 13 bass in the 8 - 16 inch range and the other 27 were in the 19 - 20 inch range and average about 2 1/2 - 4 lb range. I landed a 8 1/2 ponder at dusk while running a rage tail toad across the surface. We caught our bass using frogs, pop- r, bouya pond magic spinner bait (wasp color) and shad color 4 inch swim bait. we fished for catfish the rest of the night. Caught about 20 big catfish ranging from 4 - 8 lbs. All in all it was a great day and even better night. we harvested 20 lbs of bass and 45 lbs of catfish
