After ou third fertilizer application we achieved the bloom at Weston lake this week. The lake is teaming with life in the water column and will be great for the bluegill. Moreover, we have added two trailer fulls of brush to the marked brush piles in the lake providing a place for fish to hide and you, the angler, a place to target fish. Over the past 6 weeks there has been an 8.5 lb fish a 6.13 and a 6.5 lb fish caught from this lake. With a decked jon boat with a foot controlled trolling motor and it’s proximety to north Dallas; this lake is perfect when you want to play hookie from work for a few hours.
