I fished Saturday afternoon for about 4 hours.  It got windy and rained late, so I came in a bit early - was on the water by 1pm. I put in on the south side near the timber and fished that first—then went up to the shallow, north end and fished the lagoon last.

I caught 14 bass and 1 crappie. The crappie was in the timber; the bass were all over. This lake is loaded with them!

caught bass on just about everything: pumpkin seed senkos and plastic lizards; spinner baits, and crankbaits.

This was my first time to fish here, but I could tell the lake is very low. It’s super easy to get to off I-30 and a very beautiful property.

I can’t wait to fish it again!
