Fished with Clint Whitlock this morning.  Winds were crazy - 20-25mph constant out of the south.

We were skunked until about 9am when Clint landed a 8lb bass on a swimbait.  It had spawned - I was expecting it to go over 10.  We didn’t get a measurement on it and he was not in the big bass contest - It may have gone 24”

I caught a small 2 lb on a worm.  We had two strikes today and two fish.  We banked fished the smaller area on the other side of the launch area - it was out of the wind, but no fish.

Water looks great and near full pool..  Water was 60 degrees and normal visibility.  Didn’t try for any crappie today.

Clint:  Nice fish.  You caught the sister of the 8-pounder that I boated last fall, except it looks like you did it in the shallows and mine was in deep water near the outlet.  In a couple years, they’ll be 10 pounders. Can’t wait.  Congratulations.
