Arrived Saturday in time to start fishing about 1:00.  Such a beautiful place, probably my favorite in the club.  Dewayne and his wife came over to say hello as we (took my wife along) were loading up.  Told me the fishing has been tough lately, suggested the bank to the left of the dam, and recommended Senkos.  The wind was really blowing, which made Senko fishing difficult while managing the trolling motor.  Caught 2 fish before dark, one under and one about 3 lbs.  Caught another 3 unders off the dock throwing a Rattle Trap while taking a short break at about 5:00.

Sunday morning I was on the lake at first light.  Perfect conditions….cloud cover, very light breeze.  Fish were active, popping all over the place…..but they didn’t want anything but a Senko.  First caught a few, all unders, Texas Rigged.  Then went to Wacky Rig, and caught a few more.  Then they stopped.  Fished for over an hour without a bump and then caught a nice one.  My Boga Grip said only 5 lbs, but it was 22”+ long.  No belly whatsoever, but a really nice fish.

Total we caught 14 bass with two 3lbrs, and the one big one.  The rest were culled.  And my wife caught one of the biggest bluegill I have ever seen.  A great weekend.
