My wife and I fished Saturday evening on the property’s largest lake.  Being a quarry lake, the fishing is a little different from the usual slopped bank fishing.  There are several small coves and that’s where we caught the fish.  We were each able to bring three nice fish to the boat as well as we each hooked & lost that same number.  We caught them on purple plastic worms, chartreuse spinner and white foam popper on a fly rod.  The vegetation is getting thick so you have to pay attention to prevent the trolling motor from getting clogged.  Despite the heat, we had a fun time together on a beautiful lake!
