My son and I had two remarkable days of fishing at Heartland this weekend.  We had 20 fish @ 5 lb plus with the largest at 6 1/2.  Most of the big fish were caught on watermelon grass pigs with Owner 5/0 swim hooks.  Overall we boated 80 plus fish in two days.

Fish were bigger on average at Beaver Pond.  Did see one 10lb plus shallow at Home Place but could not get a bite.

Bass were chasing bluegill color spinners pretty good as well and some late evening bite on spooks. 

Overall, outstanding time and special thanks to Craig and his hard work!
