I fished Neill a full day with my Dad. This is a great addition to the club. The lake has good depth throughout, plenty of shoreline, clear water and healthy vegetation. I only ran into a few areas with snot grass and most of the hydrilla was green, growing a few feet below the surface. Most of the fish came in the morning and early evening with a slow bite most of the day. My dad picked most of his up on a buzz bait in the morning and I managed a few on a fluke, spinner and a rattle trap. Most of the bites came during two 1.5 hour windows in the morning and evening. I fished with a beetle spin throughout the afternoon picking up a tight eye here and there, along with some healthy bream and one crappie. The rattle trap, shallow crank bait and spinner bait bite picked up in the evening. The biggest fish was around 4.5lbs and we did not keep count on the number of fish caught. 45 min was probably the longest we went without a bite all day.
