Dr. Jackson Bean and I had a great time Wednesday at Neill Ranch.  We were on the water before 6am, and surprisingly only caught two on topwater: one with a white buzz bait and another on a Horny Toad.  We had bluebird skies and temps warmed quickly.  The water temp was 78, so it was warm as well.  I think we had 1 cloud during the entire day, and it didn’t hang around for more than a minute!  :-)

Jackson slayed them with crankbaits and chatterbaits, while I took my time (and saved my arm strength) and caught them on flukes and senkos.  All total we returned 12 to grow even bigger, harvested 28 bass and 1 healthy crappie, and had a big fish of the day at 5lbs6oz.  Great time with Dr. Bean as always!
