Slot Fish
This is a typical Texas cow tank. It has some scattered duck weed and hydrilla and a few cat-tails. Started at 8 a.m. and fish were poping bream in the duck weed but as soon as they detected my presence they were out of there. Skittish and very aware of the human. I moved out to the 8-14 ft range and found 14 willing to jump on a 4” worm, Carolina rigged. I also saw three good sized pigs at the edge of the corn field and had bob whites answering my calls ‘till mid-morning. Left at noon, the Texas sun beatin’ down. Like that Pasture Lake.
