The owner of Heartland 10 10 ranch and his friend fished Heartland last Friday afternoon from 6:15 to dark and caught these two beauties, a 10.5 and a 10.15. Tommy said "Embrace the Grass". Both fish came off the same weed bed. He has had similar results with 6 and 7 lb fish at Beaver Lake. After a few conversations with Tommy, he can't stress enough how you must be in the grass, not on the edges. The "nastier" looking the place the better. The big fish will bite early and late if you will concentrate on throwing in the middle of the grass.
