The weather could not have been more perfect on my recent trip to Melody Acres.  the temperature was 72 degrees the whole time on the lake 6:30-9:30 AM.  I can get used to that in August!

I managed to catch 28 bass on mostly topwater bite.  Good solid fish from 2-5 pounds.  There was a lot of fish activity all over the lake.  Bass were very active and chasing baitfish all over with heart stopping blow ups all over the lake.  I left with the fish still biting as agreesively as when I started.
