My wife and I fished until we couldn't fish any more!  What an enjoyable weekend at Melody Acres!  Great August weather with mostly overcast skies when fishing.  We caught 20+ bass ranging from 1# - 3#.  The highlight of the weekend was my wife catching her personal best - a 6.5# bass on a chartreuse Senko!  Caught directly across the lake from the boathouse about 15' from the bank. 

Several coppernose bluegill were caught on a flyrod using a black wooly bugger. 

We've read reports about Melody Acres for years and it definitely lives up to it's reputation of being a great fishery with hospitable hosts and picturesque setting!
