Brother and I fished Bennett afternoon of 29th and all day on the 30th.Lake was full and water clarity of 3-4 ft with temp of 80 degrees.There was some grass visible along the bank and at 6-8 ft but no problem fishing.In fact I believe it has made it better as we picked up several fish by using lightly weighted worms.
Caught 10 on Wed and 25 on Thur most in the 1.5 to 2 lb range with the largest a 4.7 on Thur morning.We had good results with top water early and spinner baits and worms later.Caught a 8# catfish on worm.
Very enjoyable trip with good results.
