Member Mike Svoboda and I fished Black Hat for the first time on Saturday afternoon.  Was a beautiful day with a light wind.  We caught 25 fish in total.  The largest bass were two at 22”, one 19” and one 18”.  We harvested one cat fish and caught two large crappies.  The fish were scattered around the lake.  Spinner baits and Senkos worked in the lily pads and rattle traps and deep diving crank baits work out on the main part of the lake.  The road into the lake is nice and the launch area makes getting our boats in and out easy.  Will fish this property again in the spring.
