My brother and I fished Holmes Lake on Tuesday the 29th with good results.  The property is nice and easy to get to from I-35.  The water is very clear, which I like, and long casts are a must.  We fished mainly Texas-rigged creature baits and buzz baits late.  The middle of the lake has several hydrilla pockets and that is where we had the best results.  Caught probably 15 total from 3:00pm-8:00pm.  The two largest weighed 4lbs 15oz and 4lbs 9oz. respectively. Out of the 15 only 2 were dinks.  This property is a great addition to the club.
