Went to Horse Shoe before work this morning.  I set up under the twin trees on the levee to the boat launch in the middle of the lake.  At 6:35am, a pair of Gadwalls came in and I took 1 of them.  At 7:15, 3 Ringnecks came in and I took 2 of them.  Saw a few other ducks flying, but not many.  No other ducks came in to the lake.  Too bad Cormorants and Seagulls are illegal, there were probably 60-70 Cormorants and a dozen or so Seagulls on the water eating bait fish.  I left at 8 for work, and never saw a duck flying anywhere between 7:15 and 8.

For the fishermen, there were tons of fish (lots of big bass) jumping at first light all over the lake.  Lots of silver bait fish popping everywhere throughout the morning.  Hit it with a spoon or slab at first light and you should catch some nice fish.
