I fished Ferris on 7/5/10 from 4pm until dark. Caught 5 fish during the heat of the day on beetle spin. Lots of fish were jumping after dragonfly’s. Things heated up after 8:30 with 6 fish caught on a new black buzz bait. Missed about the same amount (needed a stinger hook). Harvested 5 fish all in the 1 pound range. Other fish were 18 to 20 inches. I really needed some of the thunder clouds from last Monday. Still a good day on the lake. fished from the bank thought it was to wet to bring the boat out but the ground was very dry.
