MY son took us fishing for my birthday on Sunday, March 22, 2015.  We had perfect weather with no wind and fished hard from 10:30 to 7:00 .

The lake was full from recent rains, to the point of releasing water through the overflow. Unfortunately, it was also very muddy for the same reason.  Fishing was very tough with only 4 fish caught, although we fished from shallow to deep with every reasonable lure. The very good news is that one of our 4 fish weighed 10.6# on Jack's Boga Grip, so we count ourselves very lucky!

We will submit pictures of the fish immediately but will not be submitting anything to the Big Bass contest because I procrastinated and did not register prior to fishing!  Still, a great day spent with my son in doing something we love to do!
