Tom Weilert and Tom Peel were blessed to have the opportunity to fish Caresend Lake at Broseco Ranch on Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29.  

Weather ranged from cloudy and 40 to blue bird and 75 with 10-15 mph winds both days.  

On Saturday we caught 46 with a total of 15 over 5 lbs.  The largest was 7.  

On Sunday we caught 53 with 7 over 5lbs.  The largest was 6.75.  

We harvested 20 in two days so to put it in perspective we caught more fish over 5 lbs than we caught that were under 16 inches.

The 2 brand new boats are big and stable with new foot operated trolling motors and a nice pier from which to launch.

You just show up with your stuff and get in the boat and start fishing.

After 60 years it was the best day of bass fishing that either of the "Two Toms" have ever had.

Hats off to Private Water Fishing for getting this marvelous lake into the club.
