Fished Julians Lake again on morning of July 14 and caught 33 bass.  This makes over twenty visits there and have never been disappointed.  Usually catch between 30 and 40 in a half day of fishing.  Last week my largest catch was 5 lb 4 oz, but usually catch some 2 and 3 pounders to go with the 1 and 1 1/2 pound bass.  The preferred lure in the stained water is a chatterbait with chartreuse skirt and trailer.  Never a dull moment with the many fish caught and Bill’s geese on the lake to make it a great site.  The boat, trolling motor and battery is always ready, making it easy for this old man to get loaded and unloaded.
