Spent an enjoyable 1 1/2 days at Waco Creek . Lodge has a new first class tile floor and shower.  The foreman said they will also be doing other remodeling.

It had been ten years since my last annual  visit and it was good to back on the water.  The water level was at the mooring poles fairly clear to off color with it a little murky back in the upper arms.  High mid morning winds and a severe afternoon thunderstorm in the area hampered qualtity fishing time.  Fish were still in the spawning stage or had just finished.  Weightless Fat Alberts over the submerged vegetation, hand made orange/black curly tail spinners in clearer areas, and Bekley Power worms in deeper water produced to 4 lbs.  There wasn't the abundance of 7-9 lbers. like earlier visits, but then again the weather could have cooperated better.
