It was an expedition getting to the lake this morning.  There is a bridge out on 1562 between Blue Ridge and Celeste.  There are multiple other ways to get there.  I suggest the following

More than half the lake is shallow hydrilla mixed with cattails.  As soon as you hook a bigger bass, they head straight for the cattail roots to tie you up.  I'd recommend bringing MH and H rods, reels spooled with braid, and reels spooled with braid to 20lb fluor leaders to horse them out of the cattails.  Topwater bite is just starting.  Very fun lake when at full pool.
