Fished Ellington -Tree Farm in the afternoon for about 4 hrs and caught 9 fish total- 8 bass and 1 catfish. Most bass were in the 1-2.5 lb range but I did manage to land a 5 lber. Weather conditions were overcast skies coming in from the east when we arrived there, but the sun did come out about an hour later. The fish were a bit picky and would only hit TX-rigged worms and wacky rigged senkos. This was the first time I visited this property and I was thoroughly impressed with the management of the lake and the prop itself. Jon was an outstanding host incredibly helpful and nice. If I’m ever down in Houston again I will definitely be stopping by again.
